Maya Perry Hamilton, MPH, is a communications professional with extensive experience in public health communication. Since March 2017, Maya has held various positions at NASTAD, advancing from Intern to Manager of Communications, where responsibilities include coordinating member communications, implementing public relations campaigns, writing content on public health issues, and managing social media analytics using Sprout Social and Google Analytics. Prior experience includes a Communications and Design Internship at the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, a Public Affairs Internship with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and a role as a Videographer and Photographer at Community Tutoring, Inc. Maya earned a Master of Public Health in Health Communication from The George Washington University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
