Lawrence Shaw has been working as a Regional Official (West Midlands) at NASUWT since October 2012 and previously worked as an Assistant Organiser at the National Union of Journalists from July 2005 to September 2012. Before that, Shaw served as a TUC Academy Organiser at the Ceramic and Allied Trades Union from January 2002 to July 2005. Lawrence began their career as a Digital News Producer at Newsquest South London from April 1997 to December 2001. Shaw's specialist areas include statutory trade union recognition and redundancy cases, and Lawrence has experience working in diverse community trade unions and representing isolated members. Lawrence attended Eltham College from 1985 to 1994.
