Bsw Karessa Proctor

Karessa Proctor is currently serving as the Executive Director for the Maryland Chapter at the National Association of Social Workers. Karessa previously held roles such as Marketing Coordinator for Professional & Workforce Development and Administrative Assistant in the Executive Office & Governance. With experience in mental health and behavioral health, Karessa has also worked as a Mental Health Technician and Behavioral Health Technician at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program and Omni Health Services, Inc. respectively. During their undergraduate studies at Kutztown University, Karessa interned at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center and worked as a Food Server at Kutztown Tavern. Karessa holds a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Displaced Populations from Howard University.
