The National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) is the biggest and strongest federation of co-ops in the Philippines, in terms of geographical reach, membership, financial capacity and array of services. It now has around 2 million individual members coming from several co-op federations and some 800 rural and urban-based co-ops. Aside from local development partners, NATCCO also has international partners and is affiliated to international organizations to further its vision of cooperative sector development in the Philippines. Among these international organizations are the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) based in Geneva; the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Union (ACCU) in Bangkok, Thailand; Proxfin, Desjardins Development International, Canada; Aflatoun Child Savings International, Netherlands; Asian Women in Co-operative Development Forum (AWCF). Our international partners include the Rabobank, Netherlands; Bank IM Bistum Essen, Germany; Cordaid, ICCO, Agriterra, Oikocredit, Swedish Cooperative Center, and CHF International. NATCCO also notes as its main local partners the following institutions: Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Postal Bank, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc.
