Lana MacNaboe is a mixed-methods researcher working in the Crime and Justice team at NatCen.
Prior to starting at NatCen in March 2020, Lana has had experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research within prisons, forensic settings and psychiatric intensive care units. While working at a criminal justice charity, she contributed to a research paper on Spice use within prisons. She has also conducted mixed methods research on substance misuse in psychiatric intensive care units. Her postgraduate dissertation focused on media portrayals of the execution of mentally ill prisoners in America and the role of the psychiatrist in the process.
