Wendy Llorens

Chief Of Youth Services at Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office

Wendy Llorens has worked in various roles related to youth services and law enforcement throughout their career. Wendy began in 1990 as the Division Chief of Youth Services at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Office and later became the Chief of Youth Services at the same organization in 2009. In between, they worked as a Mentor at the Louisiana D.A.R.E. Training Center and became a D.A.R.E. Certified Law Enforcement Officer there in 1997.

Wendy Llorens began their education in 1975 at St. Bernard's High School in Playa Del Rey, California. Wendy completed their high school education there in 1979. Following high school, they attended El Camino College from 1979 to 1981. At El Camino College, Wendy earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Developmental and Child Psychology. From 1981 to 1983, they attended UCLA, where they pursued a field of study in Psychology Teacher Education. Lastly, from 1983 to 1985, Wendy studied Educational Psychology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. No specific degree was mentioned for their time at this university.
