David Tran

David Tran is a Senior Clinical Bioinformatician currently working at Natera, where they focus on tertiary analyses, data science, ETL, high-throughput data analyses, output, and visualization. Previously, they served as a Senior Clinical Genomics Scientist at Avellino Lab and held roles at Color, Counsyl, and 23andMe, where they contributed to genomic data analysis and interpretation. David’s academic background includes a PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Redlands. They also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, investigating neural circuitry in Drosophila, and lectured in molecular biology and neurobiology at San José State University.
