James Lawlor

Lead Bioinformatician

James Lawlor is currently a Lead Bioinformatician at Natera and an experienced computational biologist in the Greg Cooper Lab at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. In their role, they focus on developing reproducible tools and pipelines to analyze genomic data, contributing to research on rare diseases and Autism-Spectrum Disorders. James holds a master's degree in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and previously served as a Senior Cost Analyst at CSRA Inc. They are also an advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis community and have held various volunteer roles within the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In their spare time, James enjoys choral singing, travel, and photography.
