Matthew King

Matthew King is a seasoned professional in bioinformatics with extensive experience in leadership and software development. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Bioinformatics at Natera since August 2021, Matthew previously held the position of Global Lead of Bioinformatics at Corteva from October 2017 to August 2021, overseeing a global team and coordinating analyses for various biological data. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Informatics Manager in Computational Biology at DuPont Pioneer, where strategic planning and cloud resource management were key responsibilities. Matthew's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at The University of British Columbia, focusing on software pipeline development, and a PhD in Botany/Plant Biology from Washington State University, where leadership in DNA sequencing was highlighted.
