Jonathan Gebers

Jonathan Gebers has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Jonathan began their career as an Intern Developer at Jembi in 2010. In 2012, they worked as a Housekeeper & Crew Leader at YMCA of the Rockies and as an IT Tutor for Information Systems at the University of Cape Town. In 2013, they joined Korbitec as a Technical Tester & Software Analyst, where they assisted in data analysis and design requirements for feature requests, produced various artefacts depending on feature, and implemented quality assurance practices into the software development life-cycle. In 2014, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Tailored SEM. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Jembi Health Systems NPC as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they successfully implemented mission critical quality processes on an open source blood safety management information system and developed a Java based automation framework using Selenium & Cucumber. Jonathan then joined Ridebooker in 2017 as a Lead Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. In 2019, they joined Jembi Health Systems as a QA Lead. Jonathan currently works at Nathan James as a Product Manager and Lead Quality Analyst.

Jonathan Gebers has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Hons in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, which they completed in 2012. Jonathan also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Cape Town in 2011. Before that, they attended Parel Vallei High School from 2004 to 2008.
