Lora Jones

Lora Jones has over 20 years of work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Lora is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the National Bank of Blacksburg. Prior to this role, Lora worked at National Bankshares, Inc., where they held positions as Controller and Corporate Analyst from 2010 to 2022. Before joining National Bankshares, Inc., Lora worked as a Senior Accountant at Yount, Hyde & Barbour, PC, where they performed external audit, internal audit, compilation, and review services for public and non-public community banks. Lora began their career as a Financial Accounting Officer at First National Bank.

Lora Jones graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance in 1999. Lora later pursued a Master of Accountancy and Information Systems degree in Accounting, which they completed in 2006 at the same university. Lora also holds a CPA certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
