Herb Williams has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Herb started their career as the Sr. Director of the Wireless Industry Practice at Spyglass in 1999 and later served as the Executive Director of Strategic Alliances at Openwave Systems in 2001. In 2003, they joined Partners HealthCare System as the Corporate Manager of Unified Communications and Enterprise Systems, where they designed and deployed Cisco VoIP systems and managed a team of engineers.

Following their tenure at Partners HealthCare System, Herb worked at Iron Mountain as the Senior Program Manager of Unified Communications and Collaboration. In this role, they led a global team in the conversion and support of enterprise voice systems such as Microsoft Lync and Avaya UC. In this client-facing role, they provided proactive consultative support and service delivery to large enterprise clients, specializing in data analytics, system performance metrics, and optimizing operations across network services, data center, unified communication, collaboration, and contact centers technologies.

Currently, Herb works at Natick Public Schools as the Assistant Director of Technology, where they started in 2022.

Herb Williams has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Their field of study was Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to attaining their MBA, they completed their undergraduate studies at St. Lawrence University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. During their time at St. Lawrence University, Herb pursued a dual major in Mathematics and Economics.
