Esther Nderitu

Esther Nderitu has work experience in the field of risk management, compliance, and assurance. Esther worked as a Senior Risk, Compliance and Assurance Consultant at KPMG East Africa from September 2016 to October 2022, where they provided advisory services on credit risk management, implemented Enterprise Risk Management processes for clients, conducted risk-based audits, and reviewed risk governance. Prior to this, they were an Associate Risk Analyst at KPMG East Africa from September 2016 to August 2018, where they led risk analysis tasks, developed risk methodologies, and implemented financial risk management policies. Esther Nderitu currently holds the position of Group Risk and Compliance Lead at Nation Media Group, starting from October 2022.

Esther Nderitu completed a Bsc. degree in Financial Engineering with a focus on Risk and Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) from 2012 to 2016. Esther also achieved certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA - Kenya) from Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board for the years 2015 to 2017. In 2023, Esther attended the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), although their specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.
