Carol Martindale

Carol Martindale has extensive experience in journalism, primarily with The Nation Publishing Co. Limited, where roles included Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and Weekend Editor from September 2010 to the present. Martindale oversaw the Weekend Nation, Saturday Sun, and Sunday Sun, and previously managed the Nation's digital platforms as Digital Editor. From 2003 to 2010, Martindale served as Sunday's Sun Editor, responsible for leading a team to achieve record circulation. Earlier roles included Weekend Nation Editor and Deputy Weekend Editor. The journalism career began as News Editor at a young age, marking the first female to hold this position at the publication. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Communications Policy Studies from City, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ryerson University, along with A'Levels in English Literature and History from Barbados Community College.
