Bas van de Pas

Bas van de Pas is a Flood Risk Management expert at Provincie Noord-Holland, where they oversee the development and implementation of water safety policy. With extensive experience in river basin management, Bas has served as an advisor at various organizations, including Rijkswaterstaat and Deltares, where they contributed to urban resilience and flood risk strategies. Currently, Bas holds leadership roles at Interprovinciaal Overleg and the Nationaal Deltaprogramma, demonstrating a commitment to advancing water management practices. They earned a Master of Science in Social Geography and Policy and Governance from Radboud University Nijmegen and another in Food Technology from HAS University of Applied Sciences.
