Karrin Thompson

Karrin Thompson, MLIS, is a skilled professional in nonprofit development and communications, currently serving as the Development Database Lead at the National Abortion Federation since March 2024. Karrin also founded and leads Book'd by Design, a storytelling and design brand dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices. Previously, Karrin worked as a Development Consultant for For Love of Children and held various roles at CommonLit, including Development and Communications Manager and Operations Associate. Karrin's experience extends to academic support as a librarian at Trinity Washington University and a Communications and Marketing Graduate Assistant at the University of Maryland. Karrin earned a Master's degree in Library & Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Trinity Washington University.
