Samantha Ross

Samantha Ross is an experienced professional currently serving as the Advancement and Research Program Assistant at the American Brain Foundation since February 2022. As one of four co-hosts of the podcast "12 Points from America," Samantha provides a lighthearted exploration of the Eurovision Song Contest. With a long-standing role as Senior Contributing Editor for ESC Insight since 2011, Samantha conducts celebrity interviews and contributes to the website and podcasts, focusing on the sociopolitical context of the ESC. Additionally, Samantha has moderated academic tournaments for the National Academic Quiz Tournaments since 2004. Previous roles include editor for JuniorEurovision.tv and Scrn, Assistant Head of Press for the Eurovision Song Contest at Bulgarian National Television, and Office Manager at Wellington Management, Inc. Samantha holds a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and Linguistics from Macalester College and has earned certifications in College Admissions Counseling and Wine Professional.
