Jianguo Cheng MD, PhD, FIPP is an experienced medical professional with a focus on pain medicine and neuroscience. Currently, Jianguo Cheng serves as a member of the National Academy of Medicine Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic and the Expert Work Group for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Additionally, Jianguo Cheng is a professor and the Director of the Cleveland Clinic Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship Program, with prior involvement in significant health initiatives at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Educational credentials include a Pain Medicine Fellowship from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Biophysics/Neuroscience from the University of Guelph. Other academic positions have included Assistant Professor of Neurosurgical Surgery at the University of Louisville and Head of Neurophysiology and Neurochemistry Labs at Qingdao University Medical College Hospital.
