Nathan Tseboh Chomilo, MD, FAAP, FACP, is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Section on Minority Health Equity & Inclusion at the American Academy of Pediatrics and as the Medicaid Medical Director for the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Dr. Chomilo holds additional roles as a Pediatrician and Internist at Park Nicollet Health Services and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, where involvement in the Medical School Admissions Committee includes reviewing and interviewing applicants. Active in numerous organizations, Dr. Chomilo is an Ascend Fellow at The Aspen Institute and a committee member for the National Academies of Sciences focused on healthcare transformation for children. As a founding board member and Vice President of Minnesota Doctors For Health Equity and a board member of Reach Out and Read Minnesota, Dr. Chomilo advocates for early literacy and health equity. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School and a BA in Zoology from Miami University.
