Zoe Alexander is a skilled professional with diverse experience in ecology and education. Currently serving as a Senior Program Assistant at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since June 2023, Zoe previously worked as a Program Assistant. Relevant experience includes roles as a Teacher's Assistant for Urban Ecology and General Ecology courses at the Odum School of Ecology, and a USDA Biological Field Intern at Fort Keough, where research focused on disturbance regimes in grassland ecosystems. Additional internships at Spivak Lab and Tel Aviv University involved marsh ecology research and bat behavior analysis, respectively. Zoe holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Affairs and Ecology from The University of Georgia.
