Brian Sutton Edd

Brian Sutton EdD currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Exercise Science Department at Chandler/Gilbert Community College, teaching courses on resistance training and exercise testing. With extensive experience in content development and management, Brian holds the position of Senior Content Development and Production Manager at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), overseeing certification and continuing education products since 2017. Previously, Brian was an Adjunct Faculty member at PennWest California, teaching courses related to health, wellness, and performance. An instructional designer with expertise in online course creation, Brian's background also includes a decade-long leadership role at NASM, managing their Certified Personal Trainer program. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from PennWest California, an M.A. in Sport and Fitness Management from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in Communication from UC Santa Barbara.
