National Academy of Sports Medicine
Brittany Stallworth, MD, currently serves as a Physician at Morehouse School of Medicine since July 2021 and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) since January 2015. Previous experience includes a Fellowship in Beaumont Health System's Corporate Administration, where Brittany assisted with hospital operations as part of the Challenge Detroit initiative from September 2014 to July 2021. Brittany also held the position of Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from June 2013 to July 2014, focusing on the environmental aspects of cancer occurrence. Highlights include receiving the 2012 Brower Youth Award for efforts in food and environmental justice and engaging in significant research during tenure at Howard University, particularly with hyperaccumulating plants. Brittany attained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and is currently enrolled in the Psychiatry Residency Program at Morehouse School of Medicine, projected to complete in July 2025.
