Dr. Amitha Rani

Dr. Amitha Rani has diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as the CEO of kintsugii.org, a global platform that connects and supports the elderly, focusing on enhancing their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Principal Scientist and Research Scientist at the National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore. Dr. Amitha also worked as a Research Scientist at the Surface Engineering Division and CFTRI in Mysore. Additionally, Dr. Rani held positions as a Pool Scientist and Gr(IV) at CFTRI and CSIR, respectively. Dr. Amitha has also worked as a Scientist Fellow at ACIAR - CSIR and as a Research Associate at CSIR. Earlier in their career, they served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Mysore.

Dr. Amitha Rani attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1967 to 1977. Dr. Amitha then pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry at the University Subject in Bangalore.
