Amit Taneja

Amit Taneja currently serves as the State Head at NAFED - National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd, overseeing the procurement and disposal of agricultural commodities since October 2021. With extensive experience at 2010Branch since May 2007 as a Branch Manager, responsibilities include procurement, storage, and disposal of pulses, oilseeds, and food grains under the Price Support Scheme and commercial accounts, alongside managing warehouse activities. Taneja also has a background as an Assistant Manager at NAFED from May 2007 to January 2011, where duties involved oversight of procurement, warehousing, and marketing of agricultural products. Additionally, Taneja conducted a comprehensive market study on carrot and onion potential in Punjab while with Nunhems India Pvt. Ltd. Educational credentials include an MBA in Agribusiness Management from the Institute of Agri Business Management, Rajasthan Agricultural University, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the same institution.
