Mansi Kaushik

Independent Filmmaker at National Alopecia Areata Foundation

Mansi Kaushik is an accomplished independent filmmaker and dedicated volunteer with a diverse background in health and education initiatives. Currently leading the creation of an animated short film for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, Mansi is also actively involved in assessing communication skills of resident physicians at UCLA Health. As a research intern at Stanford University School of Medicine, Mansi explores topics such as multigenerational households and mental health in Asian American teenagers. Additionally, Mansi serves as a Bruin Ambassador at UCLA Undergraduate Admission, engages with prospective students, and previously founded Mission Seva, a nonprofit focused on economic mobility for marginalized groups. Mansi's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Society from UCLA and an upcoming Master of Science at Harvard University, focusing on Media, Medicine, and Health.
