Digital Experience Platform Manager at National Apartment Association (Naahq)

Alyra D. started their work experience as an Administrative Assistant at New Ventures Maine in 2011 and worked in that role until 2014. Alyra then became an Assistant to the Executive Director at the same company from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Communications Manager at New Ventures Maine and held that position until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Alyra worked as an Assistant Director of Alumni Programs at Western New England University. In 2022, they joined the National Apartment Association (Naahq) as a Digital Community Engagement Specialist and worked in that role until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Digital Experience Platform Manager at Naahq. Previously, Alyra also worked as a Counselor's Intern at Naropa University from 2009 to 2010.

Alyra D. began their education at Naropa University in 2009, studying Contemplative Psychology. Alyra then transferred to the University of Maine at Augusta, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from 2011 to 2014. In 2020, they pursued a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) at Western New England University, which they completed in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Alyra has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they obtained a Graduate Leadership Certificate from Western New England University. Then, in 2021, they received a Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Continuing their professional development, Alyra acquired various certifications in 2022, such as "Introduction to Web Design and Development" from LinkedIn, "Project Management Essentials for the Unofficial Project Manager" from FranklinCovey, and "SharePoint Online Essential Training: Beyond the Basics" from LinkedIn.

In 2023, Alyra obtained several certifications, including a "Community Management Certificate" from The Community Roundtable, "Exploring a Career in User Experience Design" from LinkedIn, "UX Foundations: Accessibility" from LinkedIn, "Change Management Tips for Individuals" from LinkedIn, "Creating Inclusive Content" from LinkedIn, "Navigating Ambiguity" from LinkedIn, "Practical HTML for No-Coders" from LinkedIn, "Supporting Allyship and Anti-Racism at Work" from LinkedIn, and "SharePoint: Site Customization" from LinkedIn.
