Eng. Al-Ballaaa, Managing Director and Board Member of the National Aquaculture Group, played a key role in establishing the group, pushing the wheel of development and prosperity in NAQUA and leading it over 37 years towards achieving rapid and lasting growth, and played an important role in supporting the field of aquaculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to the highest standards International, where he spared no effort in providing his expertise, so he gave it from his work, effort and life to be one of the largest companies in performance, reputation and position.
Eng. Ahmad AlBallaa is a member of a number of boards of directors, including a member of the World Aquaculture Committee, a board member of the National Program for the Development of the Fisheries Sector, a board member of the Agricultural Development Fund, a board member of the Saudi Export Development Fund, a member of the local council of Al-Laith Governorate, and a founding member of the Seventh Initiative to develop the fisheries sector, he also chairs the board of directors of the Saudi Aquaculture Association.
He held several positions as General Manager of Rashid AlBallaa Sons Company for Agricultural Projects and the Saudi Fisheries Company, General Manager of the International Aquaculture Company and several other positions. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Rashid AlBallaa Sons Company.
The engineer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from King Saud University, as well as an MBA from King Abdulaziz University.
