Lauren Stevens

Lauren Stevens has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lauren began their career at Maryland Public Television in 2011, where they held various roles such as Viewer Services Coordinator, Online Fundraising & Premium Coordinator, and Associate in National Distribution & Marketing. In 2015, they were promoted to Head of Program Acquisition & Producer Relations, where they played a vital role in expanding MPT's reach and building relationships with independent producers. During their tenure, they successfully increased acquired content by 300% in just three years. In 2018, Lauren joined the National Aquarium as Grants Manager and later became the Director of Grant Partnerships. In their current position as Director of Grant Partnerships & Philanthropy Services, they are responsible for overseeing grant partnerships and fundraising efforts.

Lauren Stevens has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Baltimore, starting in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certification as a Convio Luminate Online Authorized Administrator from Blackbaud in October 2012.
