Senior Rehabilitation Biologist at National Aquarium

Margot Madden currently serves as a Senior Rehabilitation Biologist at the National Aquarium, focusing on conservation efforts and advanced animal husbandry duties. With extensive experience in veterinary care, Margot has worked as a Veterinary Technician at Urgent VET Care and previously at Pet+ER and Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, where responsibilities included surgical support and post-operative care. Prior experience includes roles at the International Fund for Animal Welfare as a Temporary Stranding Technician and as the Animal Care and Volunteer Manager at the National Marine Life Center. Margot started in animal care as a work-study student at the Marine Animal Rehabilitation and Conservation Program while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marine Sciences from the University of New England. Currently, Margot is also working towards an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Veterinary Technology at San Juan College.
