Megan Anderson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of marine science and education. Megan has held various positions at the National Aquarium, starting as a Visitor Programs Interpretive Specialist in 2012, then progressing to roles such as Visitor Programs Manager, Director of Guest Engagement, and currently serving as the Vice President of Learning and Engagement. In these roles, Megan has overseen and directed teams of staff and volunteers, managed formal education programs, and set the strategic direction for engaging and impacting audiences.

In 2019, Megan also became a member of the Training Committee at the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI). Megan Anderson obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they received the CPDT-KA certification from CCPDT in September 2012.
