Heidi Barker, M.Ed., CPO, is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in e-learning development, mentorship, and assessment. Currently serving as the Lead Mentor for Digital4Good x #ICANHELP, Heidi engages over 300 students across multiple countries to foster positive online communities. As an E-Learning Course Developer at Freedom Learning Group, Heidi has designed over 30 courses that have reached more than 97,000 students, adhering to adult learning principles. Additional roles include conducting assessments for the National Association for Family Child Care, acting as a Regional Coordinator for Mauney & Associates, and developing assessment items for the Education Service Center Region 13. With a strong foundation in instructional design and educational technology, Heidi holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

NAFCC is the professional voice for over 7,500 members. These members care for an estimated 60,000 children in 45,000 households.
