Mary Loan

Mary Loan serves as the Vice President for Administration at the National Association for Interpretation, providing leadership and guidance to a nonprofit organization dedicated to education and interpretation within parks, museums, and nature centers. In addition to this role, Mary is a member of the National Board of Directors and has led the Interpretive Naturalist Section. At the Bureau of Land Management, Mary has held multiple aviation management positions, contributing to safe aviation operations in Colorado. Previous experience includes positions with the U.S. Forest Service and Death Valley National Park, focusing on interpretive and fire management roles. Mary holds a BS in Geology/Geography from the University of Iowa and multiple professional certificates in instructional design and leadership.
