Sam Matheny

Sam Matheny is currently the CTO & EVP at the National Association of Broadcasters since 2014. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions such as Vice President, Policy & Innovation at Capitol Broadcasting Company, GM - News Over Wireless at CBC New Media Group, LLC, and Manager, Digital Cinema at Microspace Communications. With a background in digital cinema, digital television data broadcasting, and web publishing for media properties, Sam has a strong foundation in broadcast communications and technology management. Sam's educational background includes a BS in Broadcast Communications from East Carolina University, an MS in Technology Management from North Carolina State University, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
