Heidi Ecker

Heidi Ann Ecker, IOM serves as the Vice President of Government, Political, & Digital Engagement at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores since September 2008, where strategic advocacy for chain companies is prioritized. Previous roles include Vice President of Legislative and Political Affairs at Winning Connections, where engagement with high-profile clients for grassroots mobilization and public education was key, and Senior Political Field Manager for the National Community Pharmacists Association, focusing on political action within independent pharmacies. Ecker also held leadership positions in organizations such as the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, the American Nurses Association, and the American Osteopathic Association. Ecker began a career in policy advocacy with positions at the AIDS Policy Center for Children Youth and Families and as a legislative fellow for Senator Ted Kennedy, after earning a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
