Candice Deans

Candice Deans has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Candice started their career in 1999 at CACI International Inc, where they worked as an HR Assistant for one year before transitioning to a role in College Recruiting. In 2003, they joined Oceana as an Office Coordinator and stayed with the company for four years. In 2007, they moved to NACUBO and began as an HR Coordinator before steadily progressing to roles with more responsibility. Candice became a Manager of Human Resources in 2010, a Senior Manager in 2013, and is currently the Director of HR and Administration from March 2023 onwards.

Candice Deans obtained a B.S. degree in Psychology from Morgan State University from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they also hold several certifications, including Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, SHRM-CP from SHRM, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute.
