Prior to this role, Andrea dedicated over two decades to the Virginia Community Healthcare Association, holding various positions including Grants and Development Manager, where responsibilities included securing funding for programs, managing grants, and cultivating relationships with institutional supporters. Andrea's earlier experience includes roles focused on grants management and volunteer coordination at Cross Over Ministry, Inc. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
