Betsy Rodriguez

Betsy Rodriguez currently serves as a Board Member for the National Association of Community Health Workers and has held key leadership roles in various organizations focused on health disparities and community health. As Chair of the National Health Disparities Committee at the ADA and Co-Chair of the CDC Community Health Worker Group, Betsy plays a pivotal role in promoting engagement and support for community health workers. With extensive experience at the CDC, including a tenure as Deputy Director of the National Diabetes Education Program, Betsy has also contributed to the Central and South America Region of the International Diabetes Federation both as Director of Communications and Press Secretary. Betsy holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on critical care, enhancing a robust background in health education and outreach initiatives.
