Commissioner Mary Ann Borgeson

Commissioner Mary Ann Borgeson has a distinguished career in public service, currently serving as Chairwoman for Douglas County, Nebraska since January 2021 and as Past President of the National Association of Counties since July 2021. Elected as County Commissioner in 1994, Borgeson became the first female Chair of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Their tenure as a Commissioner spans from 1995 to the present, showcasing their long-standing commitment to the community. Mary Ann Borgeson holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earned between 1986 and 1993, and graduated from Daniel J.
