Jack Peterson

Jack serves as the director of strategic relations. In this role, he works with NACo’s corporate partners, state associations of counties and other affiliate organizations. Previously, Jack served as NACo's deputy director of government affairs and staffed the Finance, Pensions and Intergovernmental Affairs Policy Steering Committee, the Human Services and Education Steering Committee and the Veterans and Military Services Committee.

Prior to joining NACo, Jack was a government relations associate for Urban Swirski & Associates and worked in multiple offices on Capitol Hill. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Davidson College, just north of Charlotte, N.C.
