Leon Lawrence III

As NACo's Design Director, Leon is in charge of branding and driving the design vision for NACo. He is responsible for providing a focused design communications strategy that propels the association's goals forward while managing a staff that provides all print materials and support for digital communications.

Prior to NACo, Leon held the position of design director for GANNETT/USA WEEKEND magazine, art director for USA TODAY/Open Air magazine, and designer for USA TODAY newspaper. He came to GANNETT after serving as art director of Emerge magazine for Black Entertainment Television. Leon holds a BFA with an emphasis on graphic design from the University of Southern Mississippi.
