Michael Hamilton

Michael Hamilton is the current Senior Membership Manager at NAEA. Michael has extensive experience in recruitment, retention, and engagement best practices from their previous work as an independent consultant and from their time as the Director of Membership at NAEA. In this role, they were responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring the success of recruitment and retention campaigns for a 10k member organization with ambitious growth goals. Michael also leveraged affinity and strategic partner relationships to further NAEA priorities and drive value. Additionally, they engaged 36 affiliate state societies in supporting NAEA strategic goals and developed policy and procedures for data integrity, member services, affiliate relations, and social media. Michael Hamilton also has experience in launching new association management systems from their previous role as Manager, Customer Service and Engagement at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. In this role, they were responsible for selection, build, integration, and launch of new association management system.

Michael Hamilton completed a BA in Communications and Theater Studies at Guilford College.
