April Michelle Davis

April Michelle Davis has a diverse work experience in the field of writing and editing. April Michelle currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors (NAIWE), a professional association that provides career-building resources and support for writers and editors. Additionally, they have worked as a freelance editor, indexer, and proofreader for Editorial Inspirations since 2001, catering to the needs of both publishers and authors. In the past, April held the position of Assistant Editor at the National Society of Professional Engineers and worked as a Program Assistant at the American Prosecutors Research Institute.

April Michelle Davis has a BA in English from Messiah University, completed from 1998 to 2001. April Michelle also holds a certificate in Editing and a certificate in Book Publishing from the University of Virginia, both obtained from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they have a certificate in Professional Editing from EEI Communications, completed from 2004 to 2005. Lastly, they earned an MPS degree in Publishing from The George Washington University, attended from 2006 to 2007.
