Chris Hansen

Chris Hansen's work experience begins in 2005 with Clinical Care Options, where they worked as a Graphic Designer, providing design support for events and creating graphics for company materials. In 2007, Hansen joined the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) as a Graphic Designer, later being promoted to Senior Graphic Designer and then Art Director. In this role, they designed various materials, managed the design schedule for the association's magazine, and supervised a design team.

In 2020, Hansen joined Capital One as a Senior Art Director, responsible for creative strategy and design for corporate communications. They also worked as a Senior Design Consultant at Verizon in 2021, conceptualizing and designing collateral for digital campaigns.

From 2016 onwards, Hansen freelanced under Hansen Design, taking on various design projects for clients in different industries, including non-profit associations, fintech companies, travel companies, and government agencies.

In 2021, Hansen briefly worked at Carr Properties as a Lead Designer, where they designed print and digital assets and collaborated with marketing and brand teams.

Most recently, in 2022, Hansen joined Barcami Lane, Inc. as a Principal, providing association management services to nonprofit associations.

Currently, Hansen holds the position of Senior Designer/Art Director at the National Association of REALTORS®, starting in September 2022.

Chris Hansen attended James Madison University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a BFA degree in Studio Art - Graphic Design. Prior to that, they attended Virginia Intermont College from 2001 to 2003, where they also earned a BFA degree in Studio Art - Graphic Design.
