Bowei Yu

Bowei Yu is a professional in the field of engineering with extensive experience in geotechnical and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Technical and R&D Lab Manager at Geofabrics Australasia since October 2023, Bowei previously held the position of NATA Technical Assessor with the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia, starting in February 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Geotechnical Engineer at Alliance Geotechnical from October 2020 to October 2023 and as both a Research Associate and Research Assistant at the University of Sydney from November 2019 to September 2020. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney, earned between 2016 and 2020, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from Southeast University from 2013 to 2016, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Geotechnical Engineering from Southeast University from 2009 to 2013.
