Adam Forrer

Policy Director, Audubon Great Lakes at National Audubon Society

Adam Forrer's work experience began in 2015 with an internship at George Washington University, where they assisted with a sustainability campaign. In the same year, they also interned at the National Audubon Society as a Policy Intern. In 2016, Forrer joined the Southeastern Wind Coalition as a Program Associate and later became the Manager for the Atlantic Region, overseeing outreach and engagement with stakeholders. In 2019, they briefly interned as a Federal Policy Intern at the Sierra Club. In 2020, Forrer worked as an Engagement Manager at the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance. Currently, they are the Policy Director for Audubon Great Lakes at the National Audubon Society, leading efforts to build and lead the climate, energy, and conservation policy agenda in Indiana.

Adam Forrer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond. Adam attended the University of Richmond from 2010 to 2014. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Environmental Resource Policy at The George Washington University from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Adam Forrer obtained a certification as a Conscious Ambassador of Trauma Informed Care from DePaul University in April 2022.
