Amanda Booher

Amanda Booher has a diverse work history, starting with their current role as Communications Manager at the National Audubon Society since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Communications Coordinator at the same organization from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining the National Audubon Society, Amanda worked at North Dakota State University in various roles. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Promotions Director for the Division of Performing Arts, responsible for promoting events, recitals, and performances. Prior to that, they were the Career Center Events and Marketing Coordinator in 2017, managing marketing efforts and logistics for career fairs and maintaining the Career Center website. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as the Library Event and Promotion Coordinator, providing information on library services and resources and coordinating marketing strategies for outreach activities and events.

Amanda has also worked at Knight Printing as a Project Manager in 2013, overseeing printing projects and managing customer relationships. In 2012, they were a Production Coordinator at New Track Media, responsible for coordinating ad pages and meeting deadlines for craft publications. From 2008 to 2012, Amanda worked at Summit Business Media, first as an Art Director, creating editorial layouts and marketing materials for a financial magazine, and later as a Graphic Designer for National Underwriter Property and Casualty magazine.

Their work experience also includes a role as a Graphic Designer at Reach Publishing from 2007 to 2008, and an internship as a Graphic Designer at SFC Graphics in 2006.

Throughout their career, Amanda has gained experience in communications, marketing, event coordination, and graphic design, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability in various industries.

Amanda Booher completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University, from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from North Dakota State University, and completed it from 2015 to 2020.
