Christopher Wilson

Director, Conservation Ranching Program at National Audubon Society

Christopher Wilson is an experienced conservationist currently serving as the Director of the Conservation Ranching Program at the National Audubon Society, a position held since November 2016. In this role, Christopher administers and expands a market-oriented approach to grassland bird conservation across 3 million acres in the Great Plains and the West. Prior to this, Christopher spent over 15 years at The Nature Conservancy in various roles, including Ecoregional Program Manager for the Ozarks and Ouachitas, Preserve Director for a 17,000-acre Nickel Preserve, and Director of Conservation Programs for Oklahoma. Christopher's educational background includes a Master's degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Forestry from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
