Senior Manager Internal Communications at National Audubon Society

Elisa Lagos has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Elisa started their career in 2007 as a Freelance Reporter for DesdeWallStreet.tv and then went on to work as an On-Air Business Reporter for France24/NYFP from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, Elisa worked as a Production Associate for ABC News before transitioning to a role as a Reporter for New York Times Online later that year. Elisa also had a brief stint as a Countdown with Keith Olbermann at MSNBC before joining ABC News as a General Assignment Reporter for News 12 the Bronx in 2011. Elisa then worked as a Freelance Producer for ABC News from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they became a Part-Time Media Coordinator at Safe Horizon. From 2015 to 2020, Elisa worked at World Education Services, starting as a Communications Associate and eventually becoming a Communications Manager. Currently, Elisa is the Internal Communications Manager at the National Audubon Society, a position they have held since 2020. Throughout their career, Elisa has gained experience in managing content creation, executing content development, and coordinating media activities.

Elisa Lagos completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and History at Boston University from 2002 to 2006. In 2009, they pursued further education at New York University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Journalism. Continuing their educational journey, Elisa Lagos earned a Certificate in Business/Corporate Communications from Cornell University, which they completed in 2020.
