Krysten Zummo

Krysten Zummo, M.S. is a skilled Grassland Ecologist with current engagement at the National Audubon Society since June 2023, focusing on habitat management for grassland bird species in Minnesota. Prior experience includes roles as a Conservation Associate at Mississippi Valley Conservancy and as a Farm Bill/Wildlife Biologist for Pheasants Forever, where technical assistance was provided to various stakeholders in conservation programs. Zummo has also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at New Mexico State University, studying scaled quail habitat use, and held positions involving avian research and education at Oregon State University, SUNY Cobleskill, and the United States Forest Service. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Fish, Wildlife, & Conservation Ecology from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management from SUNY Cobleskill.
