Nick Mason

Email Marketing Manager at National Audubon Society

Nick Mason began their professional career as an Associate Company Member at Playhouse on the Square, where they worked as an actor and Assistant Charge Artist for all productions in the season. Nick also assisted in the execution of fundraising events.

In 2014, Nick interned as a Digital Marketing Intern at Element Snacks Inc.

The following year, they became a Marketing Team Leader at Buzzshare, Inc.

In 2016, Nick joined StoryCorps as a member of the External Relations team.

Later that year, they took on the role of Manager, Digital Marketing & Media at New York Cares, where they oversaw the production and distribution of all digital communications, managed email marketing content, social media content, and Google Ads SEM. Nick also assisted in media relations and optimized user experience.

From 2018 to 2019, Nick served as the Content Lead, Marketing & Communications at New York Cares, where they managed the production and distribution of digital communications, grew the Instagram following, managed Google Ads SEM, and established editorial guidelines.

Since 2019, Nick has been the Email Marketing Manager at the National Audubon Society, creating engagement email marketing content and managing a large subscriber list. Nick also curates and maintains multiple custom email automations.

Nick Mason completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Musical Theatre from Shorter University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. Continuing their education, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Communication and Media Management from The New School, which they completed between 2014 and 2017.
